About Us

Student Services Fees are semesterly fees paid by all students at the University of Minnesota. Registered Student Groups and Administrative Units can request funding from this pool of money for the following academic year. Groups must present their request each February to the Student Services Fees Committee, providing reasoning and rationale for their request.

Fall 2014 SSF Check Information

SSF checks for Fall 2014 will be distributed after approximately three weeks into fall semester. The University waits until the two week drop/add period at the start of each semester is complete in order to correctly calculate fees, then, it takes about 7 business days to process the checks.

Once checks are available for pick-up, officers of your group will be sent instructions by OSA via email (please make sure your information is updated through SUA). We estimate that checks will be available the third or fourth week of September. If you have questions, please contact Sara Carvell, Fees Committee Advisor, at scarvell@umn.edu.
